Pastor Clint Sprague
We rebranded LifeMission Church through a name change to help them cut through the noise in their city. Over the next several years, the church grew by 13% to see record attendance, salvations, and giving. People need what LifeMission has to offer more than ever.
Pastor Clint is passionate to see more people experience the life change that he experienced after accepting Jesus as his savior. It breaks his heart that people don’t know Jesus and live a life without the presence of the Holy Spirit. His encounter with God completely changed his life for the better.
Their Burden.
The church leadership is burdened for their city to experience God’s presence so people can know the freedom that is found in Jesus. They are bothered that people are living in addiction that destroys their relationships. They want entire families to follow God wholeheartedly, so the sting of sin does not come near their house.
The Transformation
Church Brand Guide helped LifeMission Church cut through the noise to get found by people in their city. We worked with the leadership to communicate clearly and compellingly using the right tools online and offline.
The new visual identity is relevant to the church’s vision to help people make a difference in the world. The logo has a global feel to it, the font is clear, and the bright orange color shows energy. A well-designed visual identity creates trust in people, so they choose to interact with your brand.
We got people to come for a visit by answering their questions through a strategic website. The new guest is then engaged to join the church through a well-thought-out follow-up system.
Transformation:
Church Brand Guide helped LifeMission Church see a 13% increase in attendance and their highest levels of donations, and it all happened within three years of rebranding. For a church that already had 2000 people attending weekly, that is significant.
The previous website for LifeMission was not designed with a specific audience in mind, creating confusion for the user. This confusion caused the church to lose people before making their first visit.
LifeMission had a good logo that served them well for many years, but it was no longer relevant because of the name change needed for the church to stand out. Too many people drove by the church, not paying any attention to it, and missing out on God’s plan for them.
The church leadership knew it should use marketing tactics, but they were not expert marketers. They did not want to waste money, time, and resources trying things that failed to bring in new guests.
The Struggle.
They noticed, like many churches, attendance had been the same for years, and they had a “back-door” problem where people would stop coming after a while. People not sticking bothered them deeply.
Brand Strategy
The church needed simple, relatable visual messaging so people would trust them and take their next steps. A brand strategy ensures that the online experience flows into the in-person experience, and it all points to the vision. This clarity defeats confusion that causes people to ignore your church.
You need to provide simple steps for people to take to experience the benefits of the church entirely.
The church used a consultant to shape a unique brand strategy based on its calling. Hiring a good consultant to put together a unique plan typically costs about $5000 to $10,000.

Logo Design
LifeMission needed to be more visible in the city, so a new logo was implemented everywhere. People now know where the church is located, and it is perceived as substantial and relevant. Getting noticed starts with the logo design and flows out to other mediums offline and online.
The church needed a seasoned designer who could create a sticky logo and reflect the church. This designer needed to create a branding document that would establish the visual identity for various mediums to get the best results. A seasoned designer like this will cost upwards of $4000 to create a brand identity.

Testimonial Video for LifeMission Church
The Church Brand Guide team created the LifeMission Church brand strategy and visuals, so it was done right. People could better find the church, and they understood how it could help them. This clarity triggered them to come to the church. It saw new guests regularly, and because of the alignment to the vision, those guests wanted to join the church.
Outreach Magazine did a study that said the average giving for an attendee of a church is $1000 per year. When a church grows by two persons a month, it can more than pay for the investment to get its brand created.
