Clarify Your Message

This step involves simplifying your church’s brand message to make it clear and concise. You should identify the problem your brand solves, articulate it in a straightforward manner, and explain how your ministry offers a solution.

Engage with Story

Storytelling is at the core of the StoryBrand framework. Position your brand as the “guide” and each person as the “hero.” Your brand’s role is to help the hero (a man, woman, teen, or child) on their journey to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Create a Character

Develop relatable characters within your brand’s narrative. These characters should include the hero (a man or woman), the guide (your church), and any other relevant figures that support the story (pastors, staff, volunteers). This makes your message more relatable and emotionally engaging.

Identify the Problem

Clearly define the problem or challenge people in your community face. This step helps in empathizing with your audience’s needs and pain points, making your message more relevant to them.

Offer a Solution

Explain how your church’s brand provides a solution to the problem. This solution should be presented as a clear path to success, emphasizing the transformation and benefits your customers will experience.

Call to Action (CTA)

Encourage your audience to take a specific action, such as attending a service, signing up for a newsletter, or contacting your church. Your CTA should align with the solution you’ve presented and guide your customers on their journey.
