Hope City Church is near Los Angeles, California, and went through a momentum-building rebrand to reach millennials and Gen Z.
The church, known as Christ Brethren Church of Norwalk, has served the area since the 1970s but struggled to keep its doors open as attendance declined in the last decade.
The church leaders hired Pastor Oscar to bring a fresh vision to revitalize the church. They changed the church’s name and looked for a design partner who could help him create a new brand.
After a Google search for church branding agencies, they felt that Church Brand Guide would simplify their rebranding process while providing quality design.
Pastor Oscar explained to Michael the need to reach young families in Norwalk, and he wanted to do this urgently. The church needed to get momentum quickly to get back on mission.
Church Brand Guide provided a complete rebrand of all materials online and in print in about 30 days. They did not have to hire multiple specialists.
A large branding agency would cost over $25,000 and take over three months to design the new brand. Hope City did not have the budget nor could they wait three months to roll out the branding.
Hope City now has a fresh logo that gets recognized in the community. The website is search engine optimized to get found, leading to new first-time visitors.
The church is in a growth season as they press forward to average over 300 people each weekend.
