How to rebrand an older church with a fresh look

by Michael | Oct 13, 2023 | Brand, Case Study, Church Branding, Identity, Logo, Podcast | 0 comments

Interview with Pastor Lester Bell

“Hey Mr. Persaud! I was working on some end of the year numbers for Momentum Church and I wanted to share them with you!

80% increase in budget
513% increase in membership

All since becoming Momentum!

Thank you for helping us with our brand!”

– Pastor Lester Bell

Lester Bell took over the church from his father with a vision to reach a new generation. He rebranded the church with the help of Church Brand Guide.

Establishing a new brand created excitement that helped the church to grow by 50% within the first year.

Giving has increased significantly, and new families come to the church regularly.

We worked with Pastor Bell’s leadership team to create a clear brand strategy to reach their community.

This strategy honored the past and those who have been there with his father. It invited them to move forward with Pastor Bell to reach a new generation.

The Church Brand Guide team then designed the new branded visuals, including the logo, website, signs on the property, social media graphics, and printed material.

The Logo

Momentum Church is a vibrant spiritual community that understands the importance of a compelling logo in today’s digital age. Let’s delve into why Momentum Church, like any church, truly benefits from a standout logo.

At the heart of it, a well-crafted logo embodies the values, identity, and energy of Momentum Church. It serves as a visual representation of the church’s values, helping both existing members and potential newcomers instantly connect with its dynamic mission.

When individuals come across a logo that resonates with them, it sparks their curiosity and desire to learn more about the church and its activities.

A memorable Momentum Church logo is crucial to brand recognition. It sets this community apart, making it easier for people to identify and remember. By maintaining consistency in logo use across different platforms, from their website and social media profiles to physical signage and promotional materials, they reinforce this recognition.

A great logo also helps build a sense of unity and belonging among Momentum Church’s members. It’s a symbol they proudly rally behind, strengthening their bond with the church and each other.

In today’s digital era, where first impressions often happen online, an eye-catching and meaningful logo can attract new visitors. It serves as a warm invitation, conveying a sense of openness, vibrancy, and warmth, encouraging people to explore Momentum Church’s website, attend services, and become part of the vibrant congregation.

A well-designed logo is a key component of Momentum Church’s modern branding and outreach efforts. It communicates their identity, nurtures recognition and community, and extends a friendly invitation to all those searching for spiritual guidance and a spirited community to call home.
