Pastor Billy Register’s Story of Rebranding True Life Church From First Assemblies of Clay County
Since rebranding, True Life Church is seeing a great deal of momentum moving them toward growth. More people are attending the church on a regular basis and joining the mission.
A life-giving church is able to cut through the noise to see significant increases in attendance, salvations, testimonials, and donations.
Pastor Billy knows the difference knowing God has made in his life to transform him from an addict to a provider of hope as a minister. He is passionate about helping others understand the truth of the Gospel so they too can live for more.
True Life Church is fighting for families to be elevated to higher levels of faith and service. The church wants to make a difference in its community to help others live a better story than what they are living. They believe the hope to solve the world’s problems is the local church showing the love of Jesus to those in their city.
Churches now realize that they need to reach people online and offline. They need to know how to engage with people through their smartphones, email, social media, and with video.
People ignore the church because they don’t see it as relevant to them, so it’s up to the church to reach them where they are and educate people on the benefits of being part of a church.
- Hope for the hopeless
- A place to belong
- Grow to become better
- Make a difference
True Life Church went from preparations to close it down to purchasing a facility in a high-traffic area of town.
The transformation started when Pastor Billy’s father answered the call to pastor the dying church. He grew it and eventually handed a healthy church to his son to lead into the future.
Church Brand Guide then partnered with True Life Church to make sure
all the church’s online and offline platforms had a consistent visual identity and messaging that is in line with the vision.
The church is experiencing growth as more families choose to come each week.
The Problem
The church leadership used to rely on people traditionally going to church. They experienced a decline in church membership as the culture shifted away from church attendance.
True Life Church had a great vision, but it was confusing for those on the outside to understand why it mattered to them. They were not able to connect with new families.
People in the church had been there for many years, but new families were not coming. They needed a fresh perspective to help them connect with young families.
A New Approach
With the help of Church Brand Guide, True Life Church now provides simple steps for people to take to experience the benefits of the church. A simple and consistent message helped people understand quickly how the church met their needs.
Hiring a good consultant to put together a unique plan costs about $5000 to $10,000.
True Life Church needed a new visual identity that is more relevant and consistent on all forms of media. This included a new logo, color scheme, and graphic standards. They have developed a recognizable brand in their community which builds trust with people.
A seasoned designer will cost upwards of $4000 to create a good visual identity across the board for an organization.
We implemented a digital marketing strategy to reach people online and invite them to come to True Life Church. We know that what people understand quickly is what they will pursue, so we strategically created a website that answers questions. It provides a clear next step to visit the church.
The website has a high volume of visits, and new families come to services each week.
A strategic website that is search engine optimized will cost upwards of $5000.
